Qiro shows current events, what’s on at the cinema, restaurants around the corner as well as the location of friends who happen to be in the vicinity. Qiro is the first to offer dynamic information related to a user's location, such as free bicycles (Call-a-bike) by Deutsche Bahn and the friend finder functionality in one easy to use service.

Qiro is available for all mobile phone users, on all telephone networks and can be downloaded from the Internet at www.myqiro.de. Both use and download are free, costs only arise for mobile Internet access. These will vary depending on your network operator and tariff options.Business customers, such as shops, can advertise the location of their branches using logos in the Qiro user interface.

It is planned to transfer Qiro to a spin-off of Deutsche Teleom Laboratories, which will be founded by the end of the year.
