Professor Anja Feldmann is taking up the first out of four professorships of TU Berlin, which were established within the cooperation of Deutsche Telekom Laboratories and TU Berlin.

She will be researching in the field of intelligent networks and the management of distributed systems. In concrete terms, this means understanding user behaviour in the Internet to derive better requirements for a network.

Anja Feldmann is professor for information technology. She was previously professor at the Technical University in Munich and her background also includes work at AT&T's research centre in the USA.
