In the coming winter semester at the Design Faculty in Hildesheim, she will be hold a theoretical seminar for the masters course on the subject of "Gender & Design" as well as taking responsibility for the project development 1-2 in the area of advertising design, on the subject of "From Drag-Queens and Metrosexuals – Gender Images in Advertising".

Her public inaugural lecture, on the subject of "Gender Aspects in Design", will take place on 11th October 2007 at 15:30 in the auditorium of the Design Faculty at the university in Hildesheim, Kaiserstraße 43-45.

Since 2005 Dr. Gesche Joost has led the Design Research Lab at Deutsche Telekom Laboratories in Berlin, where she carries out research projects on the design of interfaces and interactions.
