The aim of Beta-Plattform is to develop an open network between industry, small and medium enterprises, universities and professional developers. The public-private partnership EICT is supporting this association and is providing the organisational and administrative framework. Incentives will be created for the development of innovative IP services as well as for the exchange and re-use of the results of R&D, via an archive of service and software components. Specialised test environments will allow partners to prevalidate and investigate results under conditions that are as realistic as possible.
